Dolapo Adebola-Wilson is a Nigerian-American contemporary and documentary photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. With a profound belief in the power of visual storytelling, he draws inspiration from his Nigerian roots. He seeks to establish connections and relationships among various elements, often presenting paradoxical statements that shed light on socio-economic issues prevalent in everyday life through his work.

An avid photographer with deep affinity for visual storytelling. Dolapo began his exploration into capturing moments through his lens in 2010. After having lived in France in 2016, he debuted his first Solo Exhibition that same year titled, Drift in Atlanta, Georgia. Drift is a collection of images that captures the essence of existence, freezing the flow of time. The images immortalized the unguarded moments of individuals immersed in the rhythm of their lives. In 2021, Dolapo returned to Nigeria and showcased his work in Atlanta in 2022 through a Solo Exhibition titled “Journey To Lagos”, paying homage to his first home. Dolapo seeks to continue to push the authentic human narrative through his work in the years to come.

Dolapo has been featured in Times New Herald as well as the APG Atlanta Airport Gallery. His photography serves as a testament to the complexity and diversity of the human experience, highlighting the often overlooked nuances that shape our societies.
